GAMIFICATION IN EDUCATION

The accounting work
is the gameplay.

You do not pause the game to answer unrelated quiz questions. You investigate business documents, configure records, prepare entries and make control decisions. Those actions are the learning activity.

Mission goals, points and visible progress give structure to the practice. Feedback explains mistakes so you can revise your reasoning and try again.

Before you begin

Do I need access to SAP to play?

No. FI QUEST is a standalone educational simulation. It complements your SAP learning; it does not connect to SAP or replace your lecturer’s system exercises. Each world covers a focused subset of the named course topics.

How are points and progress saved?

Each world offers up to 100 points. Incorrect submissions and requested hints can reduce the stage score; speed does not affect it. Completed scores stay in the current browser tab’s session and clear on logout. Save or print the final report before leaving. Instructor dashboards do not yet collect results automatically.

Which module should I start with?

Follow your instructor’s plan. Foundation Quest is a useful introduction before Cash Quest, Asset Quest and Close Call. Each world has its own stated balances and can be practised independently.
